Road-Map
Last updated: December 2025
This Road-Map outlines where Crypto Miners Australia is heading. We are focused on hobby-first mining hardware, open-source principles, and practical solutions for Australian homes using solar and battery systems.
EARLY 2026
Expanded open-source miners and accessories
- Add additional open-source miner options to the store.
- Expand the accessory range to improve cooling and reliability:
- High-quality fans
- Copper heat sinks
- Lilygo / T-Display (T3) display modules
- Clearer setup guides and compatibility information for each product.
MID – LATE 2026
Open-source solar, battery and miner control software
We plan to develop an open-source software platform designed to help households intelligently manage an array of miners using excess solar generation and home battery storage.
- Automated miner control based on available excess solar and battery thresholds.
- Fleet-style monitoring for hash rate, temperatures and uptime.
- Local-first operation where possible, with a strong focus on privacy.
- Open documentation and a clear path for community contributions.
Important note:
Development timelines will depend on hardware compatibility, testing requirements and maintaining compliance with free and open-source software (FOSS) licensing.

2026
FOSS-compliant Bitcoin nodes
- Begin offering Bitcoin node hardware that aligns with FOSS principles.
- Simple setup, clear documentation and transparent software stacks.
- Education around why running your own node matters for sovereignty and security.
Transparency:
This Road-Map is a living document. Priorities and timelines may evolve as technology,
regulations and the open-source ecosystem change.
